Dual Citizenship in Thailand

Residence permits from these programs do not lead to permanent residency or citizenship, but there are pathways for eligible individuals. Permanent residency applicants must hold a Thai non-immigrant visa for at least three years. Citizenship applications can be made after 10 years of permanent residency. Note that Thailand does not generally recognize dual citizenship, with some exceptions.
